Answers to the most common questions about TradingField.
Getting started
How do I create my first alert?+
Open Alerts and create a new alert. Choose a market, search for the symbol, pick a condition (Above, Below, Between or Outside range), enter your target price and select the channels you want to be notified on. The alert starts watching the market immediately.
Which markets are supported?+
Crypto, Forex, Stocks, Indices (for example US30) and BRVM. Indices are a separate market from Stocks. Use the symbol search when creating an alert to find an instrument.
What is the difference between one-time and recurring alerts?+
A one-time alert fires once and then stops. A recurring alert stays active and can fire again, but it waits 60 minutes after each trigger before it can fire again.
Notifications
Which notification channels are available?+
Email and push are included on every plan. Telegram and Discord are included from Plus, and WhatsApp from Premium (20 messages per month; 50 on Ultimate). Channels not included in your plan are locked, and a channel can show as "Temporarily unavailable" while it is under maintenance.
How do I connect Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp?+
Telegram: open the Notifications page (Settings on mobile) and follow the link to connect our bot. Discord: paste the webhook URL of the Discord channel where you want alerts. WhatsApp: enter your phone number. Once connected, select the channel on your alerts. For Telegram and Discord you can also send a test message from the same screen.
I'm not receiving push notifications. What should I check?+
Allow notifications for TradingField in your browser or phone settings, and make sure Push is switched on in your notification preferences. On mobile, push notifications only work on a physical device, not on an emulator.
Why did my alert trigger later than expected?+
Prices are checked at an interval that depends on your plan: every 5 minutes on Free, 3 on Essential, 2 on Plus, and 1 minute on Premium and Ultimate. A short move between two checks can be missed.
Plans & billing
What are the plan limits?+
Free: 5 alerts. Essential: 20 alerts. Plus: 100 alerts. Premium: 500 alerts. Ultimate: 1500 alerts. Higher plans also check prices more often and unlock more channels.
How long do my alerts stay active?+
On the Free plan, an alert stays active for 2 months from its creation, then it is deleted automatically. On any paid plan, including during a free trial, alerts never expire. Upgrade before an alert is deleted and it keeps running with no expiry. If you go back from a paid plan to Free, your alerts are kept for 2 months from the date your paid plan ends.
Is there a free trial?+
Essential, Plus and Premium offer a 30-day free trial, and Ultimate a 14-day trial. A trial is only available if you have not already used one. The Free plan has no trial.
How do I upgrade, change or cancel my plan?+
On the web, open Subscription to upgrade, and use the Billing portal button on that page to manage your subscription and payment method. If you subscribed from the mobile app, your subscription is handled by Google Play or the App Store, so manage or cancel it from your store subscription settings.
TradingView webhooks
What do TradingView webhooks do?+
They let a TradingView alert trigger your TradingField alerts. When TradingField receives a webhook for a symbol, every active alert you own on that symbol is triggered and sent through that alert's channels. Webhooks are available on Premium and Ultimate.
How do I set one up?+
First create an alert in TradingField on the symbol. Then, on the web, open Webhooks, create a webhook with a name and copy its URL. In TradingView, create an alert, enable "Webhook URL" in the Notifications tab and paste the URL. Set the alert message to JSON with the symbol and price, for example {"symbol": "BTCUSDT", "price": 65000}. The symbol must match your TradingField alert symbol.
Can I share my webhook URL? What if it leaks?+
No. Anyone with the URL can trigger your alerts. If it leaks, delete the webhook on the Webhooks page and create a new one, then update the URL in your TradingView alerts. You can also switch a webhook off temporarily with its toggle. On mobile you can view and copy your webhook URLs, but creating and deleting them is done on the web.
Account & security
How do I enable two-factor authentication?+
On the web, open Settings and go to the Security tab. On mobile, open Settings and choose Password & two-factor auth. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator and confirm with the 6-digit code.
I forgot my password.+
Use "Forgot password" on the login screen. We email you a 6-digit code to set a new password.
How do I delete my account?+
On the web, open Settings and go to the Danger zone tab. On mobile, open Settings and choose Delete account. You confirm with your password (or by typing DELETE if you signed in without a password). Your alerts, webhooks, notification connections and subscription data are permanently deleted.
